Willow class had a great Topic Day.
Dressed as Vikings, we created our own class mascots Asterix & Obelix. We cooked traditional Birka Bread (which was very popular with extra honey added). We created axes for an afternoon throwing event.
We also had time to practise our names in traditional old Norse and created model longboats.
What a fun way to start Viking life in Willow.
I’m proud of everyone involved, thank you to parents for your help with costumes.
