We have had a busy week in nursery, we created bird feeders in forest school for the RSPB great British bird watch, also in forest school we held a medieval banquet using lots of natural resources in the mud kitchen.
The children investigated colour and colour mixing using the light box, they also investigated what items would float or sink. They independently selected items from around nursery and shared their own views as to whether the items would float or sink and what happened once placed into the water.
The children developed their large motor skills when using the balance bikes and scooters, they showed good understanding of safety as the avoided each other by changing speed and direction.
The children worked together, taking it in turns to play the lunch box game.
