We are pleased to have been invited to support local upcoming events. It is wonderful for our school to be part of the local community, and I am sure these occasions will be enjoyable for children.

This Saturday (29th June), St Lucia’s School will be performing songs from our ‘Shropshire Sings’ collection at the Withington Village Fete! We would love as many children as possible to be part of this event. We will meet at 2.50pm, ready to sing at 3pm for approx. 20 minutes. Children may wear their own clothes. Please confirm with the school office if you are able to join us for the performance.

On Sunday 7th July, at 2pm we will be supporting the Atcham Fete and Duck Race, at St Eata’s with a fundraising stall to at the event. Do come along and see us and join in the fun!

On Sunday 14th July, Friends of St Lucia’s School will be running a selection of fundraising stalls and activities for children at the Upton Magna Fun Day and Dog Show. We are really pleased to be working with the event organisers and are very grateful that proceeds from the day will be split between the Village Hall, Church and School. Over the coming weeks we will be seeking volunteers to help us run the stalls and activities, if your family could volunteer for an hour please do let us know!

We hope to see you at the different summer events within our community over the coming weekends.
