In Science this half term, we are learning about famous scientists and inventors and how their discoveries have impacted us. This week we looked at the people who explored the world and brought back different types of plants. We found out about Joseph Banks, David Douglas, Jeanne Baret and Tom Hart Dyke. The children went out into the school grounds to see which types of plants they could find and identify. We learnt about the differences between native and non-native species.
