We were delighted to be able to gather again as a school this year to celebrate the Harvest Festival.
Our Harvest Festival Service took place at St Lucia’s Church in Upton Magna on the 5th of October and the children were so pleased to be able to share the poems, songs and artwork that they had prepared with their friends and families.
Rev. Andy Ackroyd is back with us and introduced the event and closed in prayer, but not before the children managed a surprise performance of the beloved “Conkers” song for everyone to enjoy!
Gathering together for this lovely Harvest Festival was a perfect reminder that we have so much to be grateful for…
“There’s a song to sing as the harvest comes in,
To the One who gives sunshine and rain.
Let us all join in with a thank offering
For the harvest that’s gathered again”
Well done Teachers and Children for a very special Harvest Festival!
