As part of our narrative unit we looked at some well-known fairy tales. We reminded ourselves of the plot and story features of Three Billy Goats Gruff, The Three Little Pigs and Jim and the Beanstalk (a re-imagining of the classic Jack and the Beanstalk).
The children then had a go at acting them out to embed the story and think about the dialogue the characters were saying.
