This term, we have been so fortunate to be able to welcome Coach Neil to school to deliver Shrewsbury Town’s ‘Reading the Game’ programme. Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 have been developing their English skills by writing a letter to a famous footballer, creating a diary from the perspective of Amber, the team Mascot and reading about the history of Shrewsbury football club. Additionally, they have been working hard to improve their teamwork, co-ordination and footwork by learning the skills required for football! We are halfway through the programme and are so excited to finish!
