We have been reading “The Great Kapok Tree” in Class 1 and have learned how important trees are in the rainforest. They provide homes for the animals, food for the animals, oxygen for the animals and humans and their roots help to stop the soil washing away in the rains.
With our new knowledge, we decided to create some posters to make people aware of how important our jungle environment is.
It is home to many creatures and we are hoping to see some of them when we visit Chester Zoo!
