Welcome to St Lucia’s C of E Primary School and Nursery

Dedicated to supporting each child to thrive.

We are a nurturing Primary School and Nursery, situated in the beautiful, rural village of Upton Magna. Our team are dedicated to supporting each child to thrive. We pride ourselves on knowing each child as an individual person, developing supportive relationships enabling them to flourish. Our curriculum and wider offer is enriched engaging opportunities and real life experiences.

Our beautiful location and grounds allow children to experience learning in the world around around us whilst also enhancing their knowledge of their natural surroundings and the importance of caring for the environments.

We are proud to maintain strong links with the local Church and to continually develop children’s sense of self within the community. We are pleased to also offer childcare before and after school hours with our Sunrise and Sunset Clubs along with an exciting Holiday Club provision.

Welcome from Miss Coleman

It is a wonderful privilege for me to welcome you to the website of St Lucia’s C of E Primary and Nursery. Our school is a special place to be, underpinned by our strong ethos, we are dedicated to supporting each pupil to thrive as an individual and committed to their wellbeing.
We are proud of our happy, enthusiastic pupils who are polite, reflective and motivated to learn. We endeavour to provide our pupils with a rich, engaging curriculum, which is broad and balanced and provides ambitious opportunities for each individual.
Our distinct Christian Values, ‘Nurture, Nourish, Grow’ are at the heart of our current development as a school. We have a strong school community, with our pupils at the heart, embraced by caring, committed staff, parents/carers, governors and wider community members.
I hope that our website gives you an insight into life at St Lucia’s, our beautiful village school in Upton Magna. We warmly invite you to visit our school and experience first-hand, its positive, calm, focused learning atmosphere.
